Does fyfey post on f365?
"Craig Whyte has done the right thing for the future of the club here and has been very clever indeed.
There is no way we could have afforded to pay the HMRC and Whyte has outsmarted them in the way he has played it. Yes he has not been forthcoming with his plans to the fans, but if he had the HMRC would have been far more alert and have taken their money and the relevant action before now resulting in everything being sold off.
Liquidation and a phenoix looks like the end game here, and we will survive and come back stronger than ever. I'm fully backing Whyte, he has been very shrewd here even as far as the TicketUS money that has dissapeared (we won't need to pay some / all of that back either). Could that be set aside to pay for the playing staff while in administration and indeed to help with costs of rebuilding once a pheonix has been launched? Just the same with the money for Jelavic (who could have walked for free otherwise).
It's not good news and we do forfeit the league this season, however it does make me crack a smile that the Celtic manager has only won it now by default. Mind you they celebrated coming second last year so they will be insufferable regardless.
Whether Whyte's plan was to do this and then stay and rebuild the club, or to re-form and then sell on for a tidy profit debt free, I think either of those are better options than we would have had if HMRC had got their way or if Murray had still been at the helm with his head in the sand.
Well played Craig Whyte, I for one am backing you to have played a blinder here."
