I need it for night shift, and just went for the cheap option, but I've found Sainsbury's "Rich Roast" is remarkably unpleasant.
Can anyone recommend a decent instant coffee that is more on the mild/sweet side? I don't particularly like the stuff, and the amount of suger I'm using will have me toothless by 35.

Cafetiere FTW

Dowe Egberts - Le cafe just now, might revert to cafe noir once this jar is done. Kenco Millicano was alright too.

Douwe Egberts medium roast is ideal for a quick lazy cuppa, next best thing to doing it properly.

Cheers for the suggestions. Sainsburys never had that Douwe Egberts, so I plumped for a Kenco Colombian number. Turned out no bad, and isn't leaving a vile taste in my mouth.

I like the Tesco Rich Roast stuff - bargain at £1.60-odd
Got a coffee machine for the house so bought that Taylor's coffee. Asda were doing a deal 2 packs for a fiver.
