2 eggs, over easy.

1 was a double yolker!

In toasted seed sensation bread made by "WARBITONS"

A VILE amount of Tommy K.

Resisted the urge to add grated Double Glocester(sp.)

VELVIS last nite.

Was dissapointed wi the starter, the waitress bird had said the salmon was HOT SMOKED but was "Raw Like Sushi"

Main was pork belly and pig cheeks.

Merlot was spot on.

2 large Glayvas in brandy balloons as "digesteef"

Pass The Stripe was in wi' ehs wee hot bird.

8/10.

Stornoway black pudding wi` a poached egg. (why always Stornoway?)

"Daube" of beef. (tenderest fillet have ever tasted) with a wee square of gratin potatoes and a celeraic mash.

Cheeseboard - Blue Monday and Brie (swerved the ewesmilk.) and port.

Loads ay Chilean Cab Sauve.

Rammed but service was guid.

9.5/10.

Left over roast duck, I spent 20 mins carefully cutting all the juicy bits from the carcass whilst listening to "The Huey Show" on Radio 6. I never knew that bird (Holly Cook) from the Slits dad was in the Sex Pistols!!
Anyway, sliced left over duck... Having managed to salvage a fair bit of meat I also finely diced some spring onions, garlic, wee bit of ginger and half a chilli. Added a couple of dashes of soy sauce and for some colour some grated carrot.
Put it all back in the fridge and will eat for dinner with some wraps from the mighty Co-op.

One question: It's a bit quiet in this forum, last post was on the 7th June and that was about "Regaine for Men"...........does it all go quiet on here at weekends??

Was at the Glasgow Warriors endy season dinner in the Pilton Hilton on Thursday there...

We're the main sponsor so took a table ay 10 wi' the top work burds.

Eggs Benedict tae stert then a wonderfull fillet.

Wine was spot on. Cannae mind ay its provenance...

Was gutted about missing the 'Roses, so instead of groovin down the East end tae see 'King Monkey' ah went for a nite in MBRA.

Booked intae Hotel De Vin and had dinner in 'The Tower' .

Pate tae start, lined wi' mushy peas!! The haggis, neeps and totties was dissapointing , Scottish cheeses saved the day.

Argentinian Malbec was spot on.

Was glad to get back tae Glasvegas. On the train in the wee 1st class bit was shared with a horriffic lezzer and auld fellah, both Judges, going sailing at Inverkip and talking loudly about work. The burds takin' the piss but ah'm mortified cause ye don't take the piss ootay judges.
