Was selling a PS2 on gumtree, and had just texted the guy to say I was late getting up for nightshift, and would he mind leave it till later in the week to come over.
A while later I got the reply,
"hurt my fingers like that again and I will have you legs broken."
I thought it was maybe some street slang that I wasn't aware of, or some Eastern European saying (the language prior to these texts had been pidgeon at best). One way or another, this guy was not happy at me messing around. I wondered what best way to respond to him, and after much deliberating over clever and witty retorts, I opted for the classic "fuck off". He beat me to the punch though, and I received,
"not ment for u sorry".
I still don't know if it was an accident or not. Maybe he's trying to portray some hard man stance, and will attempt to haggle me down from £20 at my doorstep. I hope he comes anyway, just so I can ask him if his finger is okay.
