I've been switching from 6 music to radio 2 at midnight recently, and this is getting raved about by both Janice Long and Alex Lester every night. I don't even know why I switch the station. It's like smoking, in a way - a bad habit that I kid myself on that I still enjoy, but cannot stop.

used to listen to radio 2 through the night but switched to 5 live, after i fell asleep i would always wake up if i song i didnt mind would come on.

if you cant sleep and have work the next day janice longs chat is pretty grating.

I think I'm doing it subconciously, because being annoyed by what I'm hearing keeps me more awake on nightshift. Alex Lester's chat is about the worst I've heard, discounting clyde1 dicks. Everything's so contrived. He's like one of those arseholes that makes up their own patter and keeps hammering it in the hope that someone else will take it up.
