ewan stated and enquired.... in the hoose it's always decent ground columbian or something similar. but I digress, as you're clearly a coffee lover, (I don't want to say 'connoiseur' in case Milton gets twitchy and interjects with updates on his latest purchase from an underground, back street nuclear coffee only available to those with a hunner Guardian tokens.) what's yer favourite coffee shop chain? as a regular traveller around Scotland, you must have encountered some good shops. care to share? chains and non-chains welcome.
Aye ewan, ah drink a lot ay coffee but its mair geagraphy and time ay day than franchise or product that decides the purchase. 7.15 AM in the office ah`ll hae a HUGE "SPORTS DiRECT 24 Hrs" mug of black coffee, 2 spoons ay Nescafe, Gold Blend, whatever the office burds huv bought. On the M8 ah usually always stop at the "Wild Bean Cafe" (each way!!) and get a large black to go, with 1" cauld water. Passin` Stirling, the MOTO neddy burds`ll dae us a GRANDE Americano , again with the addittion of water so it can be gulped in the motor. Naw often drink coffee in the hoose, but rarely miss ma 8AM " MA TIME"Saturday TINDERBOAX large cappa and cold chocolate muffin!! Used to go just up the road , Starbucks, pole position in the windae, hud tae dodge that pleasant gig tho as this quality but obviously crazy burd ah`h was OTT wi` one mornin` kept turnin` up at 8 also, so ah recamped tae "TINDERBOAX" !! lolzer. nae wunner yer eywis needin a shite! coffee at Tinderboax decent then aye?

Coffee is worth it though.

nah man, I'm a renegade that lives by my own rules, no fancy specs or macbook for me. just a saturday herald with a copy of razzle in the middle and a steak bake I'll surreptiously eat out ma pocket. PTS, this is a bold claim, the walk to Gibson st on Sat better be worth it. I'm getting nervous already, what am I gonna wear? will I walk or buy a "fixie" to drop in on? jeez man, my palms are sweating now.

There is a fixie shop next door, they will see you right.
Get a cherry chocolate brownie if they have them, superb.

Re Coffee. If you are in thye Marchmont area of Edinburgh check out Cafe Artista. The owner can be a bit of a cock but the coffee is superb.
Breakfast today was: Two pieces of some artisan bread (bought by Mrs YouNeverWashUp) toasted with smoked salmon topped with two poached free range eggs.
Cup of (builders) tea. Feeling slightly rough.
7/10
