nicked into Tinderbox about 3pm yesterday for a takeaway Americano and it was very good coffee.
although today I finally made it to Artisan Roast on Gibson st and yes the coffee was superb. however, I found the place extremely irritating. service was slow and disorganised, guy seemed an arsehole and took about 15 mins for the missus' drink to arrive. lots of total try hard haircuts about. couple beside us had his n hers bowl cuts and were playing Scrabble. lots of skinny wee cunts in check shirts floating about like farts in a trance. would return only for the coffee but not at the weekend busy time.

PORRIDGE (with maple syrup) Cafetiere of lavaza filter. First time in my adult life having porridge, wasn't great to be honest. Try mashing a banana and some cinnamon and or nutmeg into the porridge next time. Sublime, but more like desert than breakfast. I usually prefer cooking them with savoury ingredients, water, salt, pepper and a boiled egg.
