How do you disable Internet Explorer? The fucking thing keeps opening up!

nah, It takes more than that. Windows actually needs and runs IE even if you use another browser. It can be removed completely but its a major pain in the ass and Windows doesn't appreciate it apparently.

I'm pretty certain that you can't remove it completely, as it's too integrated with windows. What is the desire to remove it anyway? I can't think of any major benefit.

Every now and then it pops up with a shitty advert blaring or sometimes some fucking gossip magazine site! I have pop-ups blocked. I even followed some instructions that I found on Google to send IE to a dead proxy but that didn't work! Plus it is using up a lot of my processing power in the background, pretty much all the time!  |

It's not really internet exporer's fault then, as it sounds like you've got viruses/malware/adware on your system then you need to get cleaned out. Try sorting that first.

i had a similar problem. still do to a lesser extent. virus scans weren't helping. went into programmes and manually deleted any shit ones that werent needed and looked dodge/shit and it seems to have helped. still have pc confidential in there somewhere i think, that sounds like a total cunt to get rid of. |

Am I right in thinking that all I need is an adapter for the plug?
i don't need any voltage converter or similar?

The power pack does the voltage adjustment down to whatever the laptop runs off off regardless of the input voltage from the wall |
