BALBIRS last nite. Poppadoms and spiced onions Veg. pakora with sundries. South Indian Garlic Chilli chicken. Plain naaaan 3 pts kingfisher 8/10.  The main dish was just normal strength but was still fierce.  |

Fair point but there was too much. For such an Edinburgh "institution" I thought it would be better and when I've eaten there before it had been far superior. BALBIRS last nite. Lovely tender chicken pakora to start. 2 No. Tandoori Salmon for main, with Tarka Dhhaal (on the side) and a plain naaaann. 3 pts Kingfisher. Few more pints STAROPRAMEN in 2 figs after dinner. Nice lie in the day. 8/10. |
